What is the role?

As a part qualified/qualified Accounts Semi-Senior/Senior working within our Hereford office, you will be assisting the senior leadership team in the management and delivery of accounts preparation services for our Owner Managed Business Client portfolio with the below key tasks being carried out.

Experience (Senior)

• Experience preparing accounts files for Limited Companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Leadership experience -experience supervising accounts trainees
• Experience of preparing budgets and monitoring actual time against budget

Experience (Semi Senior)

Accounts preparation:

• Produce draft financial statements for Limited Companies, partnerships and sole traders using the firm's accounting software;
• Produce draft tax computations for Limited Companies and partnerships using the firm's accounting software;
• Support more senior members of the team as required;

Other:

• Other duties within the office as and when required;
• Experience with accounting software packages (e.g. Xero, Sage, Quickbooks etc.)

As well as the above you will be ACA/ACCA part qualified and have experience of planning and involvement in completing audits as well as using an analytical review process and having experience of accounts preparation, delegating and reviewing work of trainees within the team.
