Sedulo is one of the fastest growing UK mid-tier advisory firms.  Our forensic accounting team is routinely instructed in respect of a wide range of criminal and civil matters, regularly acting as expert witnesses.  We are looking for highly competent individuals to join our rapidly growing civil forensic accounting function to assist on commercial disputes and investigation matters.

Role Purpose

To support the Head of Civil Forensic Accounting on a variety of commercial disputes and investigations, taking a level of responsibility for own lead generation and project management.

Role Objectives

  • Running client engagements and acting as principal point of contact for the client where necessary Active role in team management Taking full responsibility on smaller matters in relation to the review / analysis of information and drafting of expert reports Leading on significant areas of larger projects Responsibility for developing and growing own network, building the profile of the team and the wider firm Handling opportunities and drafting proposals for new engagements Opportunity to take on expert instructions on smaller matters Responsibility for developing training programme and maintaining technical competence within the team

Your knowledge, skills and experience

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent Strong forensic accounting experience of working on a wide variety of disputes and/or investigations projects  Excellent report writing skills and extensive experience of drafting expert reports in relation to various matters Excellent attention to detail and high standards of quality Network of contacts from previous engagements and business development activity  Strong track record of networking ability and keen to develop network further Good people and project management skills Desire to take expert appointments in future Willing to buy into the growth plan of the team and the firm culture
