Management Accountant

Permanent full time hybrid commercial management accountant vacancy for a well known national business with a large finance team, offering study support and salary of £45-55,000

Description

• Supervise a team of 3 accounts assistants to ensure the timely recording of accurate financial data into the accounting system and completion of finance assistant tasks by the monthly deadlines (supervisory experience not necessarily needed - more the technical experience to show others)
• Production of management accounts with commentary on variances to present to senior management on a monthly basis
• Production of annual budget
• Quarterly revised P&L and Balance sheet forecasting
• Accruals and prepayments
• Fixed asset register maintenance
• Journal postings including month end depreciation journals
• Preparation of cash flow forecast
• Daily Cash flow input
• Analysis of aged debtors and creditors on a monthly basis and providing reports on bills unpaid and monies owed over 90 days
• Daily bank reconciliations and cash book postings for multiple business units
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Monthly journals to post internal sales to entities
• Dealing with any queries that may arise from external auditors

Profile

• Recent relevant experience of all of the duties in the job description
• Active studier or part qualified, flying through studies and wanting to get qualified (study support provided)
• Happy to work 4 days in the office and 1 from home (possibly 3 and 2 for the right candidate)
• Happy to work a 40 hour week
