An opportunity has arisen for an AAT/CIMA/ACCA studier to join a successful business in Kirkby where you will assist the Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner in the delivery of the Management Accounts.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Assist the Payables department in reconciling supplier statements and communicating with the management team to ensure all PO's are raised accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in the production of the monthly management accounts
• Accruals and prepayments for all cost centres following in depth analysis of monthly postings.
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Creation of a weekly lookahead file which includes communicating with the management team to ensure all costs/savings are flashed accordingly and accurate forecasts are submitted.
• Assist in the annual budgeting process.
• Review Gross margin by SKU and analyse BOM's to determine if any corrections need to be made.
Key requirements include:
• AAT qualified and/or at beginning of CIMA/ACCA studies
• Good Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills & ability to build relationships
This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office, 3 from home) based in Kirkby and includes full study support + one afternoon off per week for studies.
