Account Executive ( Hong Kong)

What you'll do:

⭐ Manage bookkeeping and full set of accounts for a portfolio of clients based in Singapore / Hong Kong using cloud accounting software independently

⭐ Manage complex accounting transactions including multi currency transactions, e-commerce, investment holdings, GST transactions

⭐ Self review the accounts and reports, prepare accounting schedule and able to apply relevant IFRS to accounting transactions correctly

⭐ Proactive and maintain professional relationship and communication with clients, minimizing client complaints and strive to provide best possible accounting service to clients on timely basis

⭐ Assist towards advancing our technical lead by providing feedbacks to improve our software development process

⭐ Assist with any financial related administrative duties as and when assigned.

Who you are:

⭐ Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent. Professional certification ACCA/MIA is a plus

⭐ Have at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in handling a full set of accounts for external clients

⭐ Possess good knowledge on accounting double entry, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

⭐ Have knowledge/experience managing Singapore (SFRS) or Hong Kong (HKFRS) accounts is an added advantage

⭐ Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero and/or QuickBooks, A2X, and interested to learn new accounting software

⭐ Professional proficiency in English. Candidates with additional proficiency in Mandarin / Cantonese are welcomed.

⭐ Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, tech savvy

⭐ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; team player

⭐ Self-motivated and proactive; good time management, able to work meticulously under tight deadlines

⭐ Strong sense of work ownership, agile to changes and always looking for improvements
