Job Type: Permanent

Salary and benefits:£80,000 - £110,000 plus 30% bonus up to 60%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role


In this role you will lead a team of review actuaries responsible for the operation, analysis and validation of the proxy model used for the calculation of the company's solvency position . You will work with senior stakeholders, attend governance committees and provide expert knowledge to support projects from around the business. You will provide a key role in ensuring that the business can meet its solvency requirements and in identifying and supporting management actions.


What are we looking for?


A qualified actuary with 5-10 years post qualification experience with an ability to demonstrate an excellent degree of analytical expertise and technical know-how. Ideally, you will also have past experience of working with proxy models, have a good knowledge of their use and validation and be able to evidence your knowledge of Life Products, processes and reporting procedures.


You will have the skills required to manage projects and a team of qualified actuaries effectively and be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines and be able to prioritise work effectively.
