Trainee / Junior Accountant

Requirements

You should be a school or university leaver looking to train as an accountant, or someone who has embarked on their ACCA journey and is in the early stages of their career.

It is also vital that you are well presented, well-spoken and professional as in time this will be a client facing position. 

Role

You will be involved on a variety of tasks, such as monthly and quarterly management accounts, VAT returns and various bookkeeping assignments and reconciliations for clients, payroll, and you will gain exposure to statutory accounts work. 

There will be opportunities to assist with R&D claims, personal and corporate taxation, and EIS/SEIS work.

We will offer study support for the ACCA, excellent training, and progression within a friendly and sociable working environment with exposure to wide range of interesting clients. Our team engage in extensive training and CPD courses from the ACCA, Kaplan, BPP and other providers.

We have regular company funded socials, provide fresh fruit and a variety of breakfast cereals to make sure you start the day right and a wide range of teas and coffee at our West London office (Zone 2).

Salary £22k-£32k per annum depending on career stage, additional benefits include health insurance, pension, fully paid study leave and online or in person Kaplan / BPP courses. The firm also funds question based tests and revision classes so that you have the best chance to progress. 

There is the opportunity for flexible or hybrid working and the cycle to work scheme after 6 months. 

Start date is flexible, but ideally on or between 1st April to 1st May 2023.
