Trade Support Associate

The Company

Our client is a is an American hedge fund which invests in multiple asset classes and strategies worldwide, they provide investment strategies on long/short equity, systematic, and macro investing etc.

The Role

• Manage pre-trade and reconciliation on equities, options, CFDs, fixed income securities and derivatives, repos, FX, and futures
• Conduct the verification and reconciliation of all positions to our prime brokers and trading counterparties
• Liaise with portfolio managers, traders, and external trading counterparties and prime brokers
• to resolve trade related issues in a timely fashion
• Help monitor and reduce foreign currency exposure through the execution of FX transactions
• Assist in responding to ad hoc queries from internal and external clients
  
  

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
• 3-6 years of experience in the Middle Office Operations function of a financial institution
• Knowledge of the markets and financial products, Bloomberg, and corporate actions
• Superior problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, confident
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in written English and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
