Senior Product Accountant

Exciting opportunity to join a well established team as a Senior Product Accountant for a leading Financial Services company in Cape Town. The key focus of this role will be executing the business plan, compliance at operational level, preparing management reports, providing and interpreting financial data and predicting results. You will also be responsible for  implementation of accounting processes, systems and controls for a product and responsible for product profitability analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing financial accounts 
• Analysing financial results and records, report any variances 
• Generating management reports and financial information 
• Drive the execution of the business plan 
• Ensure tax, legislation, and statutory requirements are maintained 
• Responsible for audit, tax, legislative and statutory requirements
• Maintain accounting standards

Requirements: 

• CA(SA)
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience financial services or product accounting 
• Knowledge of IFRS 17
• Highly performance driven, client focused 
• Ability to manage projects efficiently and strategically
