The Senior HR & Payroll Consultant will ensure both technical and commercial service quality across his/her portfolio of clients.

You will be able to oversee how payroll in different industries functions A-Z, and will be supported for growth by more senior members of the team and the TMF Business Academy curriculum in a motivating work environment with lots of flexibility, freedom, and personal responsibility, flat hierarchies with direct contact to management and international exchange.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform all recurring and unusual work on a file, including the configuration of files on SILAE, setting up new clients (memberships to the caisses), compliance with the collective agreement, and updating as labour law evolves;
  2. Ensure any type of communication (telephone, e-mail, mail) in a perfect way in terms of responsiveness and reliability with the customer, in particular in English, and the organizations.
  3. Participate in the selection of management candidates, welcome them, train them, and guide them;
  4. Create a portfolio of interesting files for managers, corresponding to their technical level;
  5. Check all work (payroll, charges, STC, end-of-year work, affiliations, validation of complex emails before sending) done by junior managers using the tools defined in the firm;
  6. Monitor the progress of the work and ensure compliance with deadlines throughout the portfolio through the schedule;
  7. Monitor affiliations on all new files with a checklist;
  8. Follow up on email replies, make sure to be a copy of all of his team’s emails;
  9. Organize and ensure back-up in case of absence of the manager;
  10. Provide leadership in customer relations;
  11. Prepare the work of novice non-autonomous consultants.

About you

  1. At least 5 years of experience
  2. Excellent oral and written French and English skills
  3. Experience in managing a client portfolio
  4. Good knowledge of payroll techniques;
  5. Reporting, invoicing to the customer: rigour and accuracy in filling the timesheets, Having a sense of customer service: responsiveness, quality and professionalism in responding to emails
  6. Responsiveness and proactivity: know how to immediately escalate to the manager any new or technical or relational difficulties on a file or with a member of the team
  7. Analytical, critical: alert when a pay deposit is not in compliance with the law
  8. Very good knowledge of French and English, both oral and written
  9. Sense of responsibility: take responsibility for the quality of the service performed by the entire team, ensure the traceability of its work internally by filing and a rigorous organization of e-mails and other documents
  10. Listening skills: listening to your team in order to create a relationship of trust and create total transparency in the management of problems, playing the role of privileged interlocutor within your team
  11. Sense of management: know how to delegate, empower the manager, while being present and vigilant.
  12. Know how to identify the motivations, strengths and weaknesses of each in order to be able to send back to the manager without delay the actions to be carried out while remaining neutral and impartial. Plan the evolution of employees by conducting regular one-on-one interviews
  13. Sense of data confidentiality: guarantee the confidentiality of personal information communicated with the manager
