EY Abu Dhabi Emirati Foundation Program (UAE Nationals Only) Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

The opportunity

EY and the Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy (ADGMA) are committed to developing UAE nationals.

The EY Abu Dhabi Emirati Foundation Program (UAE Nationals Only) will provide you with a practical on-the-job one-year experience that will enable you to grow and develop into a future Emirati leader. After the one-year program you will have the opportunity to be considered for a full-time position with EY.

Throughout the year, you will work full-time with a high performing EY team who will support and develop you whilst giving you the opportunity to learn more about the business world and the clients who we support to achieve their potential. You will work on real life client projects and gain exposure across multiple industries.

Over a four-month period you will be supported to obtain a Diploma of Accounting which is the foundation part of the ACCA: Associate Certified Chartered Accountant qualification through the ADGM Academy. You will complete this diploma in a class-room environment and have dedicated Training Professionals to support you with your learnings.

Audit

Get a real feel for the business world with on-the-job experience. You will learn about what it takes to audit a business while developing skills that will complement your career.

In your role in Audit, you will contribute to real client projects.

Your work could include:

• Learning about our clients' businesses and the audit process as part of a team
• Using our technology platforms to test and analyze our clients’ data

Tax

Tax affects every aspect of our lives and laws are always changing. In your role, you will help local and international businesses manage every element of their business’s tax and find better ways of doing tax while you progress towards becoming a tax advisor.

What we do for our clients?

You will be working directly on tax reporting, compliance and planning alongside senior colleagues. You’ll spend your time on a diverse array of projects and clients in a highly collaborative culture. You will get to know our clients, their businesses and how they work to provide the right service.

Know the rules: International tax laws are complex and getting caught out can be a costly mistake. We keep on top of the ever-changing rules so that our clients meet their obligations.

Integrate technology: From smart forecasting to automatic number-crunching, technology is having a big impact in the tax world. We help our clients find the tech that can give them an edge, then put it in place.

Strategy and Transactions (SaT)

As part of Strategy and Transactions, you advise on strategies to raise, invest, optimize and preserve capital. Our teams bring together transaction professionals across competence areas, sectors and geographies to help our clients achieve their objectives.

We are most interested in people who are naturally curious and love to learn. You like to work with others and build relationships with both colleagues and clients. You are goal-oriented and implement business thinking with the ambition to develop and strive for providing good service. Consulting

Our consulting teams bring together industry knowledge with a knack for asking thoughtful and insightful questions, to help our clients solve their toughest business problems. • Step 1: Apply online

Once we receive your resume you will then receive a call to confirm the service line that you wish to apply for: Audit, Tax, Strategy and Transactions or Consulting

• Step 2: Online assessments

After we review your application, you will receive invitation email from ‘EY Careers’ to complete 2 EY online assessments. Approach the assessments as you would approach any new challenge. It might be tough, but you can do it!

• Step 3: Attend

Once you have been shortlisted, you may be invited to attend an interview. This is your opportunity to learn more about the program, speak with our people and ask questions about life and work at EY.
