Arconic is currently in search of ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT to join our team in Runcorn

JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities
  • To assist the Management Accountant in all areas both Operationally and Commercially in daily KPI reporting management reporting and collation of month end accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone to develop and grow their expertise with a large multi-national company whilst gaining exposure to all activities in a standalone entity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Production of Daily reports: Recoveries, Order intake, order margin
  • Preparation of Margin Assessments
  • Cost Roll-Ups
  • Cycle Count monitoring
  • Production of weekly OPI report
  • Weekly WIP job close
  • Discount letter issue & set-up within Oracle
  • Assist with overhead analysis
  • Backup for weekly payroll
  • Month end close tasks
  • Inventory analysis
  • Help to maintain a SOX compliant environment
  • Assist with the annual stock take
  • Ad hoc projects

About the Team

Kawneer UK Ltd, is situated in Runcorn, on Astmoor Industrial Estate. There are two railway stations close to the site within a 10 minute drive. One is located in the old town which provides services between Liverpool Lime Street and London Euston station. Runcorn East station located in the new town provides services to Warrington, Manchester, Chester and North Wales. The location has good transport links to M56 and M62. Runcorn is 8 miles from Liverpool John Lennon Airport and 22 miles from Manchester Airport. Our facility offers a comprehensive range of architectural aluminium building products and systems which include unitised solutions, curtain wall, windows, doors and framing systems. In addition Kawneer UK Ltd is one of only two aluminium suppliers in the UK to hold the BES 6001: Responsible Sourcing of Materials certification. Our facility has been extruding its own aluminium system profiles at Runcorn since 1963 with a floor space of 160,000 square foot.
