Accounting & Financial Control Manager - Gross Margin (6-9m FTC)

About this role

This role leads the provision of accounting services for the Commercial teams as well as prodiving accounting and business partner support for the BT Voice and EE Home P&L by providing timely, efficient and accurate financials to key stakeholders. It ensures we have correct and accurate accounting records and enables the business to make key commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accounting processes for BT Voice and EE Home Gross Margin
• Act as a key contact for the Commercial Finance teams, explaining and providing backup for monthly movements
• Provide financial support to projects managing change to products and services
• Support on regulatory submissions for results
• Ensure robust monthly reporting of P&L results
• Ensure robust monthly reporting of the balance sheet position
• Support External Audit requests

Required Skills/Experience

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Advanced Excel modelling skills and ability to understand complex financial standards
• Strong communication skills working collaboratively across various teams
• Experience of implementing process improvement to drive operational efficiency
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and build strong working relationships
