Join us as a Business & Accounting Rules Manager within Finance Data Control
You'll be accountable for the delivery and integrity of accounting solutions from front office, business channels, and operational and financial accounting platforms to deliver internal and external reporting. You'll provide strategic direction, analysis, and design solutions for a wide range of finance systems, operational accounting, and processes.
Along with this, you'll act as a key partner as your proactively contribute to decision making on complex or specialist issues, demonstrating judgement and a thorough understanding of the business.
Day to day, you'll:
To succeed in this role, you'll bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in financial control, preferably gained within financial services. You'll have worked in a global context and will have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of stakeholders in a changing environment. And you'll hold a professional accounting qualification or have significant relevant experience in place of this.

- Join us within Finance Data Control (FDC) as a member of our Business & Accounting Rules team
- You'll support the organisation in the delivery of end-to-end financial integrations covering operational and financial accounting design
- We'll look to you to work with a wide set of stakeholders both internally and externally to understand business change and financial reporting requirements, and be part of the team that delivers strategic fit for purpose solutions for finance reporting

- Deliver analysis, architectural design and operating model presentations to senior management to influence financial accounting and reporting
- Make sure finance requirements are understood and delivered
- Act as an internal customer relationship manager and effectively maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Face off to project delivery and financial control teams, ensuring compliance with the agreed design
- Complete value-added reporting and analysis to meet our customers' needs
- Work with the team and centres of excellence to standardise processes and outputs and to undertake continuous improvement activity
