The purpose of the role is to operate the credit control function ensuring debts are collected with correct and appropriate terms. Appropriate contact must be made via telephone, email, fax, letter at the earliest possible stage on overdue debts. The successful candidate will have 3+ years if credit control experience.

The client is looking for an experienced credit controller that can come in and hit the ground running.
Description
- Work with the wider business in a structured and disciplined way to ensure debts are collected with correct and appropriate terms.
- Ensure that appropriate contact is made via telephone, email, fax, letter at the earliest possible stage.
- Maintain and operate the agreed diary procedure for chasing up outstanding debts.
- Prepare and distribute aged debtor reports to Directors and Managers. To investigate and resolve any queries raised from this within agreed timescales.
- Ensure all month-end routines are strictly adhered to, in particular, collection of debtor accounts within the applicable individual terms of credit.
- Arrange collection of client money by processing of credit/ debit cards.
- Post and allocate receipts and payments to appropriate debtor accounts.

- Previous experience with credit control is essential
