This position sits within the Commercial team, where you'll be working directly with the Commercial Finance Manager to aid with responsibilities such as business partnering, forecasting, budgeting and month end. You'll need to be confident in speaking with senior stakeholders and managers, have strong Excel skills and have previous analytical exposure to be a successful candidate.

Our client is a global FMCG brand specialising in alcoholic beverages including wine, vodka and rum. This role sits within the company's 2nd largest area of the business. They own over 200 luxurious alcohol brands around the world and have seen exponential growth over the years, despite external setbacks.

Description

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Partnering closely with the Commercial team
  • Providing reports on business performance and supporting account managers
  • Partner with the Revenue Growth Management team to drive new initiatives
  • Present at team meetings on topics such as Joint Business plans or new tender proposals
  • Monitoring and anticipating commercial performance
  • Managing quarterly estimates & annual budgeting process
  • Analysing customer & brand performance
  • Provide insight against key KPIs
  • Implementing new transformational processes & systems
  • Providing commercial expertise
  • Producing high-quality and accurate data reports

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Be part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA
  • Have strong Excel skills including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas
  • Be confident in speaking with stakeholders of all backgrounds and seniority levels
  • Have previous experience in a commercial role/been given exposure to commerce
  • Have previous experience in budgets and forecasts
  • Be passionate about the work they do & be well motivated
