Description
The Assistant Management Accountant (HYBRID) role involves:
- Reporting to the Management Accountant, and gradually taking more responsibility away from them (the Management Accountant will be progressing towards a Financial Controller role, allowing you to step up)
Initially your role will have a varied / transactional focus, including:
- Processing purchase invoices and expenses
- Reconciliation of GRN's to invoices
- Landed costing
- Supplier reconciliations
- Monitor creditor age analysis
- Reconcile Credit Card statements
- Raise payments and remittance advices, including downpayments and deposits
- Petty cash control and reconciliation
- Processing Amazon transactions and reconciliation
- Following up on Amazon queries
- Processing bank transactions and bank reconciliations
- Calculate sales promotional discounts and rebates
- Assist with processing fixed asset register
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant (HYBRID) role will:
- have strong Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable experience, but looking to eventually progress in to a Management Accountant role.
- Ideally have worked in a varied Finance/Accounts role previously
- Ideally be studying towards an AAT / CIMA / ACCA qualification (although this is not essential)
- SAP B1 experience is beneficial (not essential)
- Retail industry experience is beneficial (not essential)
- Experience with Fixed Assets & VAT is also desirable (not essential)
