As part of your role as a Tax Senior you will have hands on involvement in the preparation of tax returns for a wide range of clients. You will be supporting the Senior Tax team on ad-hoc projects and contributing to the efficient running of the department. As part your own personal development on your journey, you will be undertaking research into tax enquiries on client affairs and ad-hoc assignments as they arise. You will also provide support on planning projects and research technical issues on advisory work such as asset/business sales, succession planning and tax residency issues. Experience in Trust work would be an advantage for this role, but not essential.

We want to ensure you are growing and learning constantly so you will be aiming to work towards dealing with more complex client queries (internal and external).You will have a portfolio of personal tax clients and be asked to prepare, complete and submit their self assessment tax returns in addition to identifying new opportunities and managing the firms relationship with your clients.

In terms of qualifications, we want to ensure we are offering the best service to our customers and the same goes for our people. As an Senior we would expect you to have ideally completed your ATT, however this is not essential. CTA study support will be available.
