Finance Officer

This education and training company that is based in Cheltenham are looking for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This candidate should be able to manage the purchase ledger and ensure all expenditure is correctly approved and paid in a timely manner.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Finance Officer are:

• Processing 1000 invoices a month.
• Matching invoices to purchase orders.
• Reconciliation of credit card expenditures and statements.
• Checking VAT on Purchase ledger transactions.
• Resolving queries.
• Processing employee expenses.
• Any other duties as and when required.

Profile

The successful finance officer will be able to:

• Be able to cope with the volume of invoices coming through the department a month.
• Bed able to work alone or a part of a team.
• Work in a fast paced environment with accuracy.
• Have good communication skills to be able to communicate with customers and colleagues
