About the role

We're looking for a Finance Business Partner Network Expansion to join us at Virgin Media O2!

The Finance team acts as an integral part of the Network Expansion (Project Lightning) division in optimising performance and supporting the division in achieving its short and long term objectives!!!

This role works closely with the Network Expansion Organisation, business partnering with the relevant build director for allocated build responsibilities, alongside the relevant commercial and PMO teams.

It is a key role within the Lightning finance team, providing regular analysis on assigned builds to the Head of Finance and the Lightning Senior Management team.

Key to this is driving performance within the approved budgets, by providing challenge to build approvals and working as a virtual member of the build team.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;
  • Be a qualified accountant with a qualification (ACA,CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Influence/manage and build strong relationships across divisions
  • A track record of management of challenging and changing deadlines and quick turnarounds of information but maintaining attention to detail.
  • Evidence a background of presenting information to different departments.

  • Experience of coordinating different tasks across teams.
  • Absolutely trustworthy with high standards of personal integrity and empathy.
