Client Details
A leading organisation is looking to recruit a full time Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
Description
As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for
- Maintaining centralised accounting
- Purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledger, intercompany ledgers, purchase ordering, and cash book.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card analysis and reconciliation.
- Preparation and authorisation of weekly payment runs to supplier
- Monthly VAT returns for submission to HMRC.
- Record the journal entries on the accounting system for recoverable and irrecoverable VAT and record and monitor monthly cash receipts.
- Assist the Finance Manager in the production of accurate and timely month end management accounts, annual budgets, and year end returns
