Junior/Mid Level Accountant

Our Client is a Corporate Service Provider Group, with a strong portfolio of clients, to which they offer a variety of services within Accounts, Legal, Tax, Corporate, and Advisory. They strive to deliver Top-level service, while maintaining a healthy Work-life balance, and a great work environment. Theu are looking for Client Accountants both Junior and Mid Level who are passionate about the line of work and ambitious with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Accounting Records of a portfolio of clients - daily journal entries, requiring experience in credit, debits and double entry;
• Carry out account/bank reconciliations;
• Assist in the preparation of VAT Returns;
• Perform other related work as necessary;
• Report to the Senior Accountant.

Requirements:

• A level in Accounts Min 1 year of relevant experience, with experience in journal entry (debit, credit, and double entry) Knowledge of SAGE will be considered an asset;
• Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel;
• Good organizational and administration skills.
• Must be able to work on their own initiative, under pressure and be driven to meet multiple deadlines in a very fast-paced work environment.
