Page Personnel are recruiting for a Credit Controller on behalf of a fast growing utilities business based in Bolton.

The purpose of this role is to support to end to end credit control process and assist the business in established a dedicated credit control function as it continues to grow.

Description

Credit Controller duties will include:

• Management of ledgers and key customers
• Contacting customers to obtain payment by telephone and email
• Timely and accurate invoicing and ensuring credit requests are actioned with the agreed SLA
• Manage all invoices frequencies including credits and returns to ensure they are cleared in a timely manner
• Regular account reconciliations
• Working with other departments to resolve any escalated payment or billing queries
• Provide cash flow information on payments received and due
• Month end reporting and monitoring of KPI's
• Obtaining sufficient information to assess the credit worthiness of new and existing customers ensuring the system is updated.
• Creating and maintaining process/how to guides for all tasks undertaken
• Advise on problems and suggest process improvements
• Ensuring any issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner
• Any other Ad hoc tasks as required

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Have a proven track record within a similar role
• Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
• Be proficient in MS Office
• Be able to work alone or as part of a team
