Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Vice President to drive ownership, coordinate, and assist in delivering training content for our growing Real Assets segment within our Private Markets Alterative Accounting team. They will partner with all US locations and colleagues in our international hub locations to establish technical training materials and deliver them to new employees or those that need to expand their skill sets. They will be responsible for the library of training materials and establishing the delivery of the materials to the accounting and support staff in our segment.

Skills Required and What you will be responsible for

As Fund Accounting Real Asset Technical Advisor, VP you will be responsible for

  • Strong working knowledge of Private Markets
  • Strong Technical Fund Accounting skills for both closed end and open end funds
  • Knowledge of accounting controls and how they impact process requirements
  • Technical understanding of Private Fund capital flows and allocations(calls, distributions, recycling)
  • Technical understanding of complex fee calculations (Waterfall, Incentive, Management)
  • Broad knowledge of public and private portfolio investments
  • Ability to create or edit procedures and instructions so that they can be understood broadly
  • Ability to work with management on identifying areas of knowledge deficiency and creating plans and materials to strengthen
  • Responsible for curating (and maintaining) library of written and recorded trainings for Accounting Functions
  • Responsible for coordinating the training of new employees directly or through working with resources globally
  • Ability to track and report on the progress of induvial and group training initiatives

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with accounting
  • 12+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience
  • 6+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong preference for individuals with working knowledge across accounting and partnership platforms (Investran, Geneva, WSO, Oracle Financials, IFS and State Street Proprietary software)

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $177,500 Annual
