As Operational Risk Officer you will be:

  • Responsible for the quality and accuracy of monthly Risk reporting provided by the corporate Risk Reporting Team.
  • Participating in and leading the administration of the corporate Risk Framework and related programmes within the business area.
  • Identifying material deviations from the Risk Framework, Policy and Guidelines.
  • Reviewing and analysing risk related information such as operational incidents and risk assessments as relates to new business and products.
  • Assist with assurance work to monitor the design and operating effectiveness of the identified controls in place to mitigate the material risks (e.g. controls testing, thematic reviews, policy assurance) as required.
  • Participating in relevant working groups.
  • Supporting a culture of effective challenge.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • University Degree in a relevant field such as accounting, finance or banking, or equivalent professional qualification an advantage.
  • Experience in financial services industry or similar.
  • Risk Management, Controls Testing, Audit or Finance experience an advantage.
  • Fund Administration or Fund Management experience an advantage.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent Analytical skills.
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
