Job Overview:

Our client an investment firm is seeking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Director to join their team. As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for managing and directing the financial operations of the company, ensuring that financial goals and objectives are met. You will work closely with the CEO and senior management to develop and implement effective financial strategies and plans, and to ensure that the company is in compliance with all financial regulations and reporting standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and direct the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
2. Develop and implement effective financial strategies and plans to support the overall business strategy of the company.
3. Oversee the preparation of financial reports and analysis, and ensure that financial performance is closely monitored and tracked.
4. Negotiate and secure funding for the company, and manage investment and treasury activities to ensure that sufficient resources are available to support growth.
5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and internal controls.
6. Provide financial advice and support to senior management, including recommendations on investment decisions.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.
8. Oversee financial risk management, and implement processes and controls to minimize financial risks and ensure the company is well protected.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, and a minimum of 7 years of experience in a financial management role.
2. Strong knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
3. Ability to develop and implement financial strategies and plans that align with the overall business strategy of the company.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior management, board members, clients and stakeholders.
5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams of finance professionals.
6. Ability to think strategically, and to make sound financial decisions based on market trends and industry developments.
7. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards, and experience with financial risk management.
8. CPA or other professional financial designation is preferred.
