In your role as a security professional, you have a unique opportunity to become a trusted partner. The great customer experience you deliver, helps our customers deliver a fantastic experience for their own customers, their employees and business partners. Your expertise provides the clarity our customers need in understanding the risks to their data and that of their customers, helping to prioritise and focus action in the most cost-effective way, whilst contributing to the protection of Brand, reputation & margin on Managed Contracts and other commercial arrangements.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role you may be required to undergo DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum may be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role

You'll have the following responsibilities
- Accountable for delivering and shaping the Contract Security and Obligaitons Team strategy to enable the achievement of the GSS goals.
- Accountable for the assurance of contracted security obligations for each Programme of work affiliated to all GSS Frameworks/Contracts.
- Accountable for the independent assurance of BTs' UK and global Obligations.
- To act as Principle consultant for Contract Security Management best practice at Programme and Project level in the business unit.
- Accountable for ensuring that the necessary cross functional teams are delivering the customer contracted security requirements and monitoring security delivery during the life of the contract.
- Maintain a DV level security clearance.
- Recognised Industry Security Qualifications e.g. CISSP and ISO27001 Implementation and audit.
- Detailed knowledge of Regulation and Industry Standards - e.g. GDPR, ISO27001, NIST.
- Strong skills in Risk Management.
- Detailed understanding of security assurance processes.
