Job Description

Your field of responsibility
Join us as Real Estate Transaction Analysis Lead. You manage an internal team. You have responsibility for maintaining and managing the global pipeline of business cases by region, materiality, status and approvals required to ensure critical dates are met and aligned with the Book of work as well as the global strategic cost transformation agenda. You are responsible for preparing financial analyses for material and complex real estate transaction business cases (stay vs go vs relocate) according to lease accounting standards and in collaboration with Finance and Accounting Policy as well as providing 4-eyes review and challenge across the team. You are responsible for preparing monthly one-off reserves and Cost to Achieve (CTA) reporting for presentation to senior management; overseeing production of the monthly Transactions achievements report and managing the team in preparing financial analysis of the Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) and Global Wind Down scenarios based on FINMA requirements.

The Transaction Portfolio Managament team operates globally with the team Head located in Zurich, Business Manager in London, 4 regional leads and a centre of excellence in Warsaw, Poland. Overall the TPM department is responsible for the global real estate portfolio and strategy. We work with the business to understand demand and then execute real estate transactions. We seek to drive greater strategic business alignment with senior business leaders and influence demand for GBSS products and services. Our highly motivated colleagues come from across the world. Your skills and experience

The candidate requires high competence in Real Estate Transaction Financial Analysis, specifically:

  • 8-10 years proven experience ideally in Real Estate Finance
  • Team management experience with the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and to prioritize deliverables and objectives
  • A degree in a quantitative field e.g. Business, Economics, Accounting (university or similar)
  • Outstanding communication skills. Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written) is essential. German an advantage
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on continuous improvement as well as being agile to changing requirements and expectations
  • Well-developed interpersonal skill-set; must be able to communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Accounting qualification would be beneficial
