The Manager assists the Head of Division to manage his/her team matters and ensures that all matters of client companies are properly handled and ensures excellent service to clients. The Manager engages with external as well as internal clients and is responsible for daily operations and gets involved in business development activities.


  • Manages a portfolio of clients for accounting, corporate tax, salaries tax, payroll, fund administration;
  • Maintains relationship with daily client contacts and their direct supervisors;
  • Reviews deliverables to clients;a
  • Reviews financial fluctuation analysis for key clients;
  • Liaises with auditors of clients;
  • Provides authorized signatory for payment instruction;
  • Analyzes customer specific demands and provides value-added solutions;
  • Supervises and coaches team members;
  • Allocates engagements to team members based on their experience and competence;
  • Implements internal control procedures and trains team members;
  • Monitors productivity within the team and drives continuous improvement;
  • Assists Senior Manager / Director in business development;
  • Prepares proposals for new/existing clients;
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling of TMF services;
  • Responsible for preparing/reviewing invoices and collections;
  • Works with HR on recruitment activities, performance review and employee relations matters;
  • Attends seminars for networking and development purposes;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Degree holder in Accountancy or business related discipline;
  • A minimum of 7 - 10 years relevant experience in CPA firms or multinational companies;
  • Professional qualification holder;
  • Member of professional body;
  • People management experience;
  • Sound knowledge of international accounting and banking practices;
  • Good command of written and spoken English.

  • Will keep up to date with business trends/ changes in law that will impact their role
  • Is aware of client contracts & what is W.I.P. / “out of scope”

  • Able to successfully deliver short to medium term projects

  • Understands TMF Group’s services, and how the organisation is structured

  • Is involved in or responsible for debt collection and negotiation of fees with clients in his/her area of responsibility
  • Can articulate and demonstrate the impact (financial, etc) of their role and activities on the business area
  • Is aware of productivity within team and drives continuous improvement

  • Will delegate work across the team as appropriate
  • May manage a team, supporting development of more junior team members through objective setting and delivering constructive feedback
  • Supports the up-skilling of team through sharing of knowledge, best practice and coaching
  • Understands own motivation and personal impact in optimising personal and team performance

  • Builds and maintains relationships at all levels across the Group
  • Is mindful of culture differences across a diverse organization
  • Communicates information in a clear and concise manner
  • Manages stakeholders' expectations with regards to delivery, escalating concerns as appropriate.
