Job description:
A niche 2 partner Chartered Accountancy firm, based in North West London, member of the HAT Group of Accountants, is looking to recruit a senior to perform a 60% audit and 40% accounts preparation role. Client sectors ranges across a variety of areas including Retail, Technology and Manufacturing. You will be working mainly on small and medium sized clients, generally with turnovers up to £100m. The position will involve dealing with a wide range of UK companies and UK subsidiaries of international groups. Duties will involve assisting the audit Senior/Manager on audit assignments and preparing accounts for the Manager/Partner within budget.
Person specification:
The successful candidate must be at least ACCA/ACA part qualified and have at least 2 years audit and accounts preparation experience of working in a UK practice environment. The role requires a determined character, with excellent knowledge of current UK accounting and auditing standards. You must have experience working with audit Seniors/Managers/Partners on various audit assignments, preparing accounts and corporation tax computations. Excellent written, verbal and face to face communication skills are essential as there is a lot of client contact.
