Fund Accounting – Exchange Traded Funds confirms calculation

Be part of a new team with great opportunities for career growth. The role will involve the production of Exchange Traded Funds Authorised Participant confirm activity. We have responsibility for the accuracy of ETF Confirms published to the marketplace and liaise with other supporting departments to ensure the standards are kept high. This is an exciting time to join as the team is establishing a large footprint in Ireland.

Fund Accounting – Exchange Traded Funds client and internal communications

With responsibility for a portfolio of clients the team oversees client deliverables on a daily basis. This includes the publication of AP Confirms along with any supporting information and queries our clients have on these orders.

Job Summary: Reporting to the team manager, you will be part of a Fund Accounting team that is responsible for oversight and calculation of trades, liaising with multiple clients and internal departments. Typical working hours are 7am to 3.30pm in a hybrid setting, with flexibility depending on assigned clients.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Production and oversight of daily trade calculations.
  • Periodic in-depth trade reviews.
  • Accurate and timely completion of fund related calculations.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of reporting.
  • Investigation and resolution of internal queries.
  • Manage client queries to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and internal departments.
  • Identify any risks with processing and ensure that these are addressed.
  • Review of overall job process with a view to further efficiencies.
  • Manage own continued professional development, by engaging in the PPR process and attending relevant training per development pathways.
  • Engagement on project work within the team.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a fund accounting/trading environment.
  • Third level business/finance/accountancy qualification.
