Tax Manager / Director

This position provides the opportunity for a motivated individual to develop and expand your career in servicing Japanese multinational organisations and their domestic and global individual tax needs. You will be a part of the management team who aim to create a differentiated business and you will get the opportunity to manage accounts with a team of mobility experts and help them solve mobility issues.

Client Details

My client is an industry leader with over 50 years experience servicing the cross-border needs of clients. They have about 2000 employee in APAC and 6000 global employees. In Japan, they mainly focus on tax and immigration services for individuals but also provide payroll and HR services to clients. The Japan office has over 100 employees. They're now expanding their business in Japan so they're recruiting a few Tax Manager/Director headcounts.

Description

• Individual tax services for Japanese Nationals
• Coordination of global personal tax compliance (Japanese nationals foreign assignment services)
• Providing Japanese tax services
• Compensation structuring
• Tax reimbursement policy development
• Consultation on payroll issues
• Pre-departure tax planning and projections
• Tax return (Japan and U.S.) preparation

Profile

• Tax compliance or tax consulting services experience with Japanese business organisations or individual tax
• Good communication in Japanese
• Client facing experience
