Client Details
Our client are a public sector organisation based out of North York who service the North Yorkshire community and are really well known. They have a huge finance team and have a particularly increased workload at the moment which is why they are after some support at least for a few months.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant role will be to process invoices and receipts, some elements of credit control and answering telephone and email queries, coding invoices and receipts, chasing up, reporting and some data inputting too. There will be elements of ad-hoc work too as and when required from the wider team.
Profile
The successful candidate will already have experience in a transactional finance position, ideally in a public sector organisation, but also any experience in a large finance team would help. They will be immediately available and able to hit the ground running, take great initiative and be extremely organised.
Job Offer
The successful Accounts Assistant will be offered the following:
- £10-12 per hour depending on experience
- Immediate start position
- At least a 3 month contract, chance this could extend further
- 37.5 hour working week
- Flexi time hours available
- York based on public transport routes
