As a Senior Digital Business Analyst, you will manage the work of a team, assisting in the management and coordination of analysis in an Agile delivery team of skilled professionals including product owners, delivery managers, development, test and creative teams.

As a Senior Digital Business Analyst, you will manage the work of a team, assisting in the management and coordination of analysis in an Agile delivery team of skilled professionals including product owners, delivery managers, development, test and creative teams.
Your role
- You should be able to role model BA standards and practices. Every Senior BA will be responsible for mentoring and coaching on BA tools and techniques as well as leading and encouraging other BAs on the continual improvement of BA standards and practices. You will support and encourage the continuity of a virtual BA Community in a matrix environment.
- Line management of Digital Business Analysts ensuring they are meeting the objectives of the Digital Leadership Team and the broader objectives of Specsavers, ensuring effective career development and regular check-ins with each team member
- Work with the Digital BA Manager to ensure your team are part of an effective community of practice, sharing knowledge and skills with each other and broader technology BAs and assisting in the assessment of BA competencies against the Specsavers BA competency framework
- Create business analysis work plans to manage your own and other Business Analysts' activities, tasks, deliverables and schedule, including effort estimates. Effectively communicates this to the appropriate management. Managing the schedule, raising risks and issues as appropriate
- A track record of working on cross-functional development programmes with demonstrable experience in working on a variety of different IT delivery projects.
- Several examples of working with a recognised Agile or Iterative development methodology and experience in Agile documentation including Backlogs, Customer Journeys, Use Cases, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria etc. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience ideal
- Experience in analysis and prioritisation of both functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience in creating plans and managing your own business analysis activities, tasks and deliverables including estimations of effort needed
