About the team
The iptiQ Finance team supports iptiQ with the Financial Management of the Division and is led by the iptiQ CFO.
The Global FP&A team is a central part of the iptiQ Finance team working across iptiQ to support the CFO and CEO with Financial Planning, Forecasting, Economic Reporting, Consolidated US GAAP Reporting, Cost Management, Performance Management and Project work. The team works on the production of reports and management information for both internal and external reporting including management reporting packs, Board documents and external publications.
The team is led by the Head of Global FP&A iptiQ who reports directly to the iptiQ Divisional CFO.
The team works closely with the iptiQ CFO, the other iptiQ and Swiss Re Group Finance teams, the Pricing teams and Actuarial teams across the globe to ensure the quality of the financial information and provide insights from its data and analysis.
About the role
The successful candidate will provide support to the iptiQ Finance team broadly as well as the Global FP&A team specifically and the Finance Director - Head of Global FP&A whom the role reports directly into. This will involve the following work (not an exhaustive list):

About the role
The successful candidate will provide support to the iptiQ Finance team broadly as well as the Global FP&A team specifically and the Finance Director - Head of Global FP&A whom the role reports directly into. This will involve the following work (not an exhaustive list):
- Responding to and analysing ad hoc queries from iptiQ management
- Assisting in the 3-year financial planning cycle with analysis where applicable
- Preparing executive reports for management review of results and analysis
- Working to deliver forecasting and quarterly reporting deliverables including consolidating the results, reviews, and other analysis queries
- Reviewing sales performance and distribution partner analysis to help steer the business
- Exposure to IFRS as Swiss Re will begin reporting under IFRS in 2024
About you
- Completion of or working to complete a university degree, preferably in economics, finance, business administration, actuarial or natural sciences
- Qualified accountant e.g. ACA, ACMA, ACCA or progress toward a plus
- Financial services experience, with life insurance or reinsurance preferable a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Skills
- Strong oral & written English
- Team player
- Able to work to tight timelines on occasion and manage a varied workload
- Ambitious and able to perform tasks independently when required
- Good interpersonal/networking skills
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating a clear and articulate level of written and verbal communication
- Exposure to accounting/Finance as well as in insurance / financial and capital markets
