The client operates in the property and housing sector and have been building, developing and renting for over 125 years. They are a SME company that offer an excellent working environment and the opportunity to become part of a friendly team.

Their office is based in Fulham and this role will sit in a finance team of five.

Description

Accounts Assistant - Property Company Duties:

  • Responsible for processing invoices and ensuring correct coding
  • Responsible for reconciling accounts regularly and following up any discrepancies, resolving queries, obtaining missing invoices
  • Communicating with affiliated companies via telephone and email
  • Recharging occupiers where required
  • Processing bank payments and transactions
  • Processing credit card payments
  • Recording cheque payments and other banking
  • Processing interest on bank accounts including deposit accounts
  • Petty cash
  • Assisting with other supplier type invoice processing and payments
  • Assisting with collecting contractors' insurance documents
  • General assistance in the accounts team and Ad hoc duties as required

Profile

Accounts Assistant - Property Company Criteria:

  • Candidates must have at least one years accountancy experience
  • Due to training and integration, this role is office based with WFH days give on an ad-hoc basis
  • Currently studying or the desire to study some form of accounting qualification
