You should have extremely strong technical accounting skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for high growth early-stage companies
- Be the internal lead overseeing accounting and financial functions of the Company (Billing, Bookkeeping, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition) via our outsourced accounting vendorAssist in preparation of consolidated management and statutory accountsEstablish robust and scaleable financial reporting processesEnsure effective internal controls and documentation of finance processes and proceduresProvide management with advice on financial implications of business activitiesExperience in handling audits and driving it to closure
- Advanced Accounting degreeExperience with the Big 4 accounting firms is a mustAt least 3 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.Experience with creating financial statements.Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.Familiar with computerised accounting packages eg Xero, MS Dynamics or QuickbooksExperience in Financial Technology preferred but not required
