AP Supervisor - US Luxury Retail Brand (Up to 40k)

Client Details

Our client is a well-known US retail group who is a market leader in fashion jewellery industry. With new expansion in the APAC business, they are now seeking for an experienced AP Supervisor to join their finance team.

Description

• Lead the Accounts Payable team
• Align and standardize AP processes across nine markets
• Identify and lead AP/T&E systems and process improvement initiatives
• Develop and implement AP KPI's
• Partner with country-based business and Finance teams, Global Procurement, General Ledger teams and outsourced accounting firm
• Assist in on boarding suppliers to procurement system
• Process payment vouchers, invoice approval, payment preparation and settlement, T&E
• Assist with month-end closing, preparation of monthly closing and balance sheet schedules
• Support Statutory Audit and prepare audit schedules
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned

Profile

• Higher Diploma or above in Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in retail company, experience working in Accounting Shared Services for different market is a must
• Experience leading an international AP function and process/systems change
• Hands on experience with ERP and Procurement systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to operate in a fast-paced working environment
