Finance Manager

As a Finance manager, you will be responsible for a number of acquisitions within the company. Your main challenge will be the business partnering element with the individual companies as they all operate in their own unique way.

Based in Bracknell, our client are an expanding company due to recent success and large acquisitions. the forward thinking, proactive company have a great track record for internal promotion, especially within the finance department. Due to the recent success of the business and internal promotions, our client are seeking a newly qualified finance manager.

Description

As a commercially aware finance manager, you will be responsible for the overall finance function for a number of subgroups (companies). As each company operate and report differently, your role will be to consolidate all the reports and present them on a monthly basis.

• Responsible for the preparation and production of monthly management accounts for each company
• Preparation of budgets
• becoming the first point of contact on all finance aspects for the managing directors
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• managing a team of two.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with the aspirations to progress throughout the business. You will have experience within management accounts and be comfortable managing a team.

Ideally you will have previously worked within accounts payable or receivable.
