Due to increased workload a payroll specialist role has become available within the worldwide pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will have a strong EMEA payroll background with an IPASS qualification or equivalent.

Description
Payroll Specialist - Remote
Responsibilities include:
- Process monthly payrolls in accordance with payroll cycle in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements
- Payroll processing for expatriate employees (liaise with Global Mobility and Tax advisers)
- Good knowledge on Irish payroll (incl. Sick and mat pay) and pension plan
- Processing payments of net pay via EFT and Internet banking
- Coordination of Taxes/Social Charges, Pensions, Insurances payments.
- Respond to HR and employee queries arising on supported payrolls.
- Develop strong working relationships with the external payroll vendors and internal departments
- Support manager with ad hoc projects, as they arise
Profile
- Irish Payroll experience is essential
- 5 years of experience in payroll
- Experience with Success Factor, Workday, ADP payroll systems
- IPASS qualification
- Ability to prioritise and handle a high volume of employee queries
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with expatriates
- Experience with time and attendance systems
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
