You will be joining a business renowned for internal promotion and professional development, where you will be stimulated and challenged every day.

The position of Commercial Finance Business Partner will support Sales & Marketing to identify, challenge and drive the delivery of commercial and financial benefits.

You will be a key member in the S&OP process from Commercial Finance looking at the short term and long term profitability.

Our client is wiling to consider newly qualified applicants looking to develop their business partnering experience, or those with PQE and a proven back ground in commercial business partnering.
Salary will be reflective of experience.

Key duties include:
  • Provide commercial insight, guidance, challenge and decision support to ensure business targets are achieved.
  • Support the sales team with tender pricing for current and new customers across all products
  • Deliver financial support and analysis to the business Demand Review and other elements of the S&OP process.
  • Manage customer accruals on rebates, lump sums, and terms.
  • Work with the brand and category teams, providing post promotion analysis to review success of promotions delivered, and insight into what future promotional strategy should look like.
  • Evaluate sales projections and investment proposals for new product launches business cases.
  • Monitor performance of new product launches.
  • Support the Commercial Finance team on period end results, providing commentary on sales performance
  • To become a key member of the team in understanding Business Intelligence tools, providing support to others to ensure data is maintained and kept up to date.

Suitable applicants are likely to have
  • Previous commercial finance experience within Manufacturing/ FMCG/ Produce business
  • Advanced analytical skills, including use of BI tools.
  • Soft skills to build relationships across the business, through adapting style and approach to person and situation.
  • Good judgement to know when it is necessary to work at a detailed level and when to take a broader view.
  • Effective influencer who is comfortable with providing supportive and effective challenge.
