Interim Finance Manager

Manage all aspects of Finance in line with compliance and the organisational needs. This is inclusive of but not limited to financial budget, forecasts and monthly and annual accounts.

My client is a credible not for profit organisation based in Manchester providing support to those who cannot easily access this.

Description

As the Interim Finance Manager you will:

• Prepare annual reports, budgets, performance reports and accounts in line with board requirements for internal and external usage.
• Manage, progress and implement financial procedures and systems which are crucial to increasing cost deficiencies.
• Manage the reconciliation of monthly budgets and account ensuring sufficient funds.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure internal audits are in place.
• Prepare VAT returns on a monthly basis.
• Manage, implement and develop the procedures and systems in line with compliance and the organisations legal requirements.
• Monitor and form administrative systems ensuring efficiency and compliance's of procedures.
• Identify and assist the progress of financial and administrative systems ensuring they meet current and upcoming demands of the organisation.
• Sustain the fixed asset register, ensuring this is maintained up to date at all times.
• Make sure audit processes and additional assets are secured and conforming to the organisations procedures.
• Maintain and demonstrate efficient performance and monitoring in line with organisational procedures resulting in accordant and efficient service levels.
• Monitor reports on a regular basis regular to relevant bodies ie board, management meetings internally and local forums.

Profile

The successful Interim Finance Manager will:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Experience within a similar role.
• An ability to identify and react to emerging issues.
• Experience within accounting and good team working skills with the ability to supervise a team,
• Experience in delivering projects to tight deadlines.
• The ability to analyse financial issues and interpret information.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience with month and year end audits and management accounts.
• Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to tight deadlines.
• The ability to represent the ethos and objectives of the organisations specialists.
