Position: Assistant Manager – Risk Analytics

 

Job Description:

DuringyourtenureasanAssistant ManagerinAnalytics,youwilldemonstrateanddevelopyour capabilities in the following areas:

 

  • Delivery: To manage and lead the overall success ofa client engagement.Definethe overall approach/ methodology for the engagement. Ensure high quality deliverables within the appropriate timelines. Ability to manage multiple engagements at a given time. Client:Tobuildanunderstandingofclient/marketrequirements.Ensurehighlevelof client satisfaction to retain the client and produce more business. Business Development: Lead the proposal development to respond to RFPs from the client. Define and design the solution/ methodology to meet client's requirements. Takealeadinbuildingeminencematerial/marketgotomaterialforeffectiveBusiness Development. Project Management: Prior experience in leading, managing and delivering multiple projects whilst maintaining the project budget and timelines. TeamWorking:Tomanageandworkwiththeteammembers,coachjuniorpeopleand sharingknowledgeandexperience.Mustworkwellinateam-orientedenvironmentas well as independently. Ability to work with multiple team members from various backgrounds/ ethnicity and get the best out of the team. Personal Development: To proactively identify opportunities to understand and build on known strengths and to address development areas.

 

 

Skills:  

 

  • KnowledgeofBanking,CreditRiskManagement,FinancialRiskManagement,IFRS9, Stress Testing etc.
  • PriorexperienceofworkingwithBig4(preferred).
  • Workingexperienceinmodeldevelopmentandmodelvalidation.
  • Strong statistical and quant modeling skills (Multiple Linear Regression, Logistic Regression,TimeSeriesregression,Segmentation,ExtremeValueTheory,Artificial Intelligence Techniques, Machine Learning etc.) Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects within the stipulated timelines. Ability to work with team members across various level and get the best out of the team. Ability to front end, manage and communicate effectively with the clients. Prior experience in Business development related activities, such as development of the proposal, designing the approach/ solution to varying problem statements etc.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications& Experience:  

 

  • AnMBAorPostgraduateinStatistics/Economics/Mathematics
  • Atleast6- 7 yearsofexperienceinManagementConsultingFirm.Experience inbig four companies is a plus
  • ProfessionalcertificationsuchasCFA,FRMpreferred
  • Ability to apply knowledge of structure, functions, and procedures in solving organizationalproblemsandtodevelopmethodsforimplementingprescribed systems with the capability to predict the effect of changes recommended or instituted.
  • ProficiencyEnglish(writtenandspoken)Arabicisadvantageous
  • Willingtoworkhoursasneededtomeetclientdeadlinesandfirmneeds.
  • StrongproficiencyinbasicPCapplications(Excel,Word,PowerPoint,etc.)witha general understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Fullmobilitytravel
