Client Details

My client are a well-established organisation based in the city centre of Brighton. They have a newly created Management Accountant role to join the very well-established team.

Description

As the Management Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts for Sites complete with P&L's, variance analysis, commentaries and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Margin and COS calculations and analysis.
• Manage the weekly site forecast reporting and weekly labour forecast and reporting. Assist the business with periodic analytical information.
• Revenue accounting - Booking sales & banking journals and reconciliation to EPOS. Site banking reconciliations and resolving any banking issues.
• Managing the impact of 3rd party relationships and site revenue streams.
• Book relevant monthly journals - accruals and prepayments.
• Fixed assets accounting - Manage Fixed Assets module for: additions, depreciation, disposals and revaluations.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and assistance to Senior Finance personnel and other areas of the Operations Team.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist with maintaining cash flow model and cash flow forecasting.
• Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with auditors.

Profile

To be successful in your application for Management Accountant, you should be:

• Experienced in producing Management Accounts.
• ACCA/CIMA not essential, can provide support if needed
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Able to travel to site once per month (North of England - paid for).
• Great communicator with internal and external stakeholders.
