Job Duties:

  • Ownership of the month end consolidation and reporting activities for the GN Division in line with reporting deadlines, ensuring compliance with IFRS and providing key insights into the monthly performance and presenting information in an impactful way with focus on the key drivers, assumptions and KPIs
  • Support the Executive Leadership team by providing a detailed analysis of the on-going financial performance, value drivers and key performance metrics through a deep analytical review of key variances versus forecasts and prior years
  • Responsible for collating all GN financial analysis for the reporting requirements relating to external market announcements and liaising with the Investors Relations team
  • Responsible for the overall GN cashflow forecasting and working capital management and for supporting the VP and CFO in ensuring the efficient and effective management of Working Capital
  • Hold a number of Directorships within Glanbia
  • Responsibility for GN’s Global Contract Services Model (CSM) supporting the development and maintenance of processes and controls, including the detailed Transfer Pricing models
  • Responsible for ensuring that all CSM related transactions within the Group are processed and reconciled each month end and that the requisite controls are in place to support the Division and Group’s management & financial reporting
  • Manage the Control Framework, to ensure compliance and alignment with Group policies, risk management planning and corporate governance and driving any resulting improvement opportunities to closure
  • Act as a key liaison and maintain a key relationship with Group Finance, Group Tax and the Internal and External Auditors
  • Management, Coaching and Mentoring of 1 direct report

 

Requirements

  • 5 years of prior experience
  • Qualified accountant
