Job Description:

We are seeking an Associate to assist in the investor on-boarding process. Primarily, the function will perform activities to digitalize manual subscription documents via the exchange fund closing technology platform (“XFS”), perform a review of the subscription document information for completeness and accuracy and validate Form W-9. Responsibilities also include other operational functions related to investor servicing and service provider oversight.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Process subscription documents within XFS with responsibilities including:
    • Review electronic data that was translated from manual subscription documents via OCR technology for accuracy
    • Perform data entry activities to transform data from manual subscription documents and other related materials to electronic data
    • Perform prescribed review activities of subscription and related materials, including Form w-9
    • Provide remediation comments for each subscription to the Investor Servicing Group in a timely manner
  • Ensure that internal control framework for processes are followed consistently and proactively recommend improvements, when needed
  • Responsibilities may also include support to Investor Services Group in other areas of operations, including:
    • service provider oversight
    • investor portal administration
    • closing reconciliation activities
    • Other as requested
  • Other responsibilities/projects, as necessary

Qualifications

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the financial services industry in an operational capacity, demonstrating consistent progression
  • Analytical skills and ability to solve problems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to timelines
  • Strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills
  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to learn complex tax-driven investment products and related processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
