Finance Administrator

About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join the Major Structures team on HS2 in Birmingham.

Role Purpose:

To carry out financial and administrative processes which underpin the provision of timely and accurate management information to support financial management within the project in accordance with the BBV way.

What you'll be doing

• Run and monitor on/off plant hires, unreceipted hires reports
• Receipting of purchase orders and timesheet input
• Monitor materials purchase order summary reports, for quantity tolerances and report on a weekly basis to appropriate team members
• Liaise with appropriate person(s) to obtain approvals to progress exceptions to resolution and aim for auto-matching of invoices
• If Straight Through Processing (STP) has failed, manually match to relevant accruals as and when required
• Managing and recording of invoice queries on a daily basis using recognized reporting tools
• Produce and make use of reports as and when required, to inform interested parties of plant, material & labour costings

Who we're looking for

• Knowledge MS Office; particularly Excel, SharePoint and PDFs
• Ability to handle and work with complex data
