Onboarding/ Client Acceptance Officer

You handle legal, compliance and administrative matters of prospective client companies to ensure full compliance with TMF intake policies and regulations. You will contribute to the team’s success by working independently and act as a member of a dedicated growing team. In this role you can have impact by building relationships and having strong customer focus. It is under your responsibility to hand over new accounts to the respective service teams in such a way that the client can start to be serviced without any unclear matters or compliance open issues.

The position gives you an explicit opportunity to contribute to the further up-scaling and professionalization of TMF client onboarding/ acceptance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, review and assess relevant KYC documentation to evaluate suitability to complete compliance requirements and client risk analysis requirements;
• Prepare client risk analysis and perform screenings on prospective clients and related parties;
• Prepare a concise and complete handover to the service delivery teams;
• Attend and carry out calls/meetings with Sales staff and clients;
• Ensure that all procedures remain in line with applicable internal guidelines and execute any activities necessary to enable TMF to comply with the Dutch Central Bank regulations which are required from a sound compliance point of view;
• Ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding/ acceptance process, e.g. by developing a strong working relationship with Compliance Group / NL, (Global) Sales staff and Service teams;
• Populate and up-date client database (Viewpoint);
• Prepare billing setup;
• Keep records per account of own worked hours;
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Your profile:

• University or HBO degree in either Law or any similar or solid compliance professional experience;
• Minimum 1 year relevant working experience, preferably in the compliance/KYC domain;
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of the latest legislation / regulatory developments (Wtt/Wwft)
