My client is a reputable growing business in retail industry. They are currently growing the team, and they are seeking a talented candidate to be a part of their team.

Description

The Head of Finance will be responsible for driving the organisation's finance strategy and facilitating the delivery of key budget and forecasting processes to ensure effective operational management.

• Provide financial leadership and advice on project management and operational matters.
• Prepare and present accurate financial and regulatory reports for submission in a timely manner to management, corporate and regulatory stakeholders.
• Manage cash position of the group to maximise ongoing liquidity, including cash forecasting.
• Prepare and present all necessary analyses and explain the variances.
• Train and develop the Finance team.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on all financial matters.

Profile

• Must have a degree or professional qualifications in Finance / Accounting with minimum 5-7 years of experience in in retail industry.
• Possess sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and controls while striving to keep abreast of Malaysia's accounting and tax developments.
• Hands-on, analytical, meticulous and great with numbers.
• Have a positive attitude, a great team player, self-starter, possesses good communication skills, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
