Overview of the role

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is reports to Finance Manager. The Accounts Receivable Senior Accountant is responsible for ensure accurate business reporting by adhering to robust closing activities and accurate financial and administrative operations. The Accounts Receivable Senior Accountant must comply with established policies and procedures.

What you will do

• Ensures an accurate & timely month, quarter & year-end closing providing all necessary regular & irregular analysis.
• Maintains the Chart of Accounts; ensure adequate and proper classification among accounts’ groups. Accurate and well-presented chart of accounts.
• Supports Audit related activities for department.
• Handles a monthly analysis for all customers.
• Posts and issues of monthly invoices and claims.
• Handles balance confirmations and reconciliations for all customers.

About the Team

The AR team is a group of 2 highly motivated, collaborative, and fun, finance professionals across Egypt, looking to a member to the department.

What equips you for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,or any related field.
• 4 - 6years of experience in handling the AR process.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Applications.
• Excellent understanding of setting up and organizing database and spread sheets.
• Exposure to SAP is preferred.
